Craziest Cars

Have you ever wondered what people have come up with when creating or inventing cars? Let’s find out! Here at Carlife, we love everything about automotives from repairs, to services to custom cars. We love to embrace what people have done and the way their minds work. Everyone has a mind that works entirely different that anyone else, and is wired so specifically, like each car. When we look at the past cars from the 1954 oldsmobile to the present 2017 Audi R8, we realize the beauty behind the make up. Each part was individually designed in the vehicles and took creative minds to build such beauty.

Craziest Car Ideas

People have come up with amazing ideas and ways to improve their vehicles. Just a hand full of ideas we have found are:
-Grass car-covered in grass from top to bottom
-Double Car- a car stacked on top of another car. Pretty scary if you ask me.
-Telephone Car- shaped and created like an old school telephone
-Wooden Car- the body is made entirely of wood.
-Art Car- all of the craziest types of art in order to express who they are was all over.

The point is that people get creative. They release whatever is in their heart onto their vehicle. It is impressive, noteworthy and admirable.

A vehicle is not just about transportation. People are passionate about their cars because the car becomes a part of their motivation of moving forward in life. It creates opportunities for people to be seen in a different way, a way to express who they are, and who they want to be.

In what way does your vehicle express who you are? How is your personality shown in your car? Come to Carlife and let’s chat about your car and what we can do for you!

Glendale Jeep Trails and Service Information

Glendale Jeep owners and aficionados take great pride in their vehicles and want only the best for their 4×4 rides. We are big Jeep fans at CarLife Professional Auto Service in Glendale by the Arrowhead Mall area. The iconic Jeep brand is one of the most popular in the world, and each Jeep vehicle we get to provide service or repair to is a treat for us at CarLife.

To honor our Jeep owners and customers, here are a few off-road trails within reasonable driving distance from Phoenix that will bring you great 4×4 outdoor fun.

Apache Trail – This 40-mile trail is Northeast of Phoenix located between Apache Junction and Theodore Roosevelt Lake. A fairly easy ride, the first part of the trail is paved but it is mostly dirt. Offering blind curves and tight switchbacks near cliff edges, the Apache Trail will require some focus in critical areas. Expect to take up to three hours to do this ride and make sure you bring plenty of water.

Mt. Ord Lookout – South of Payson and Northeast of Phoenix, this day trip offers a great Jeep trail with an opportunity to hike to the forest service lookout tower that marks this scenic spot. This easy to moderate 12-mile trail has an elevation change of 3,256 feet to 6,747 feet. If you choose to hike to the lookout tower, you will experience vistas from 7,128 feet. Give yourself at least a few hours on this trail to include the hike and sightseeing.

Sunflower Mine Trail – Just Northeast of the town of Sunflower, you can experience a 20-mile loop through the beautiful mountains near Payson. The trail starts off easy as you make your way toward the mine and becomes more challenging and difficult as you pass it and continue on the loop. Allow yourself all day to do this 20-mile adventure.

When will they fly!?

With all of the latest vehicular technologies in development such as brain-controlled cars, automatic safety systems, and oil change services in Peoria (oh wait, we’ve got that covered) the lofty dream of flying cars doesn’t seem so far off. After all, it’s not like flying vehicles is a new idea. Flying cars themselves have been thought of for years and conceptualized in movies but have not yet really seen the light of day.

There are multiple companies working on the flying machines, according to compare.com, such as AeroMobil and Terrafugia. This flying car, from AeroMobil, will supposedly come out this year! Whoop, whoop! Although so far, all prices seem to be estimated at around a few hundred thousand dollars… so most of us will never own one. Instead, maybe we can lease one out for a weekend?

Pricing is definitely one issue but what about practicality? Are they necessary? Will they be worth using over a ground-vehicle? Will they need to get oil changes in Peoria using the services we offer!? And what about the all of the yet-to-be-developed legalities?

There are certainly a lot of questions surrounding these vehicles but that doesn’t mean there’s not just as much excitement. Maybe our flying future won’t look quite like how the movies have presented it but at least there is a future, and a near one at that!

Auto Air Conditioning Repair Glendale AZ

A/C Repair Glendale AZ

Glendale, Arizona has a hot desert climate. Shrub lands cover most of the area, with a notable lack of the natural shade and cooler climate offered by a greener landscape. The average daily high temperature is above 98°F from the beginning of June to the end of September. There is little to no cloud cover on most days, and air conditioning is a must-have in both your home and vehicle, not a luxury! When they need A/C repair, Glendale AZ residents come to CarLife Professional Auto Services.

The hottest day of the year is July 4, with an average high of 107°F and low of 80°F. The fourth of July is traditionally a family holiday, with many families taking trips to see other family or friends. A great majority of folks want to spend that holiday outdoors, if temperatures allow. Can you imagine packing up the family vehicle with kids, suitcases, coolers, and perhaps even the family pet, and suddenly realizing the air conditioning is not working properly? Nothing can ruin a road trip faster than being uncomfortable! For auto air conditioning repair, Glendale AZ families have been trusting their family vehicles to CarLife for years, with great results.

The highly trained, professional staff of auto technicians at CarLife understand your family’s need for a comfortable car, truck, or SUV to make those special holiday road trips, and to have for your everyday trips around town, as well. Spending time in the car together can be fun, and road trips can help build stronger relationships between family members. We know you value the time spent building meaningful relationships with your family, and we want to give you that time. That’s why we not only work hard to keep your family vehicle in shape, we do our best to do any work necessary as quickly as possible, and turn your car, truck, or SUV around fast.

We value our relationships with our customers. We promise to do our utmost to provide you with the ultimate customer service experience every time you come to us for your necessary auto repairs. Glendale depends on us to keep them cool when things heat up. Give us a call today at (623) 223-1691 and experience the CarLife difference.

How to Road Trip Properly

Feeling adventurous, Phoenix? Want to go somewhere new? Then plan a roadtrip! We’ve all heard of people doing it but have we actually done it ourselves? And no, not just driving long distances, but an actual road trip? As spontaneous as road trips are, you do not want to be spontaneous in the preparation, otherwise, it’ll be a short trip straight to your auto repair shop in Peoria. Here are some things to keep in mind when planning a road trip.

1. Don’t do it by yourself. Road trips are not parties of one, they’re meant to be experienced with other people! How else will anyone believe all of the wild stories that happen?

2. Make a budget. Give yourself some room to breathe, in case something unexpected occurs.

3. There are a number of apps that can be pretty helpful, according to lifehacker.com. Roadtrippers is a good one for taking some of the planning off your shoulders. It can plan routes for you so that you can calculate the fuel costs, distance, and time of your trip. Plus, it can help you find stops (if you’re going to completely ignore our next point, that is).

4. Leave room for discovery. Don’t plan your stops; instead, stumble upon them. Do this wisely, of course. If you’re in an unpopulated area, it doesn’t produce a sense of adventure as much as it does car-wide panic- and nothing ruins a road trip like a non-functional car in the middle of nowhere! That leads us to our next point:

5. Make sure your vehicle is in good shape! You won’t want to have to visit an auto repair shop before you even get to your destination! Check out our blog for tips on this:
Is your vehicle ready to take you on an adventure?

6. Lastly, remember, you’re on a road trip! Go out and experience life, eat food you haven’t eaten before, do a new activity, make new friends. This is supposed to be fun, after all!

So are you thinking about it? Maybe in the future someday? If you think it might be worth your while, then set a date for planning out what you might want to do. Who knows, if you plan it out then it just might happen…
